I am finally replacing my Ping i20 irons with a set using the more forgiving and better looking TS3 heads.
Although I’m over 70, I don’t care for ultralight iron shafts (7-iron flies 152 yds). I tried the TS3.5 and TS3 heads (among others) and found my swing produces a more consistent trajectory and distance with the standard lofted TS3.
What steel or graphite shafts should be on my shortlist if I desire a ≈100g-105g shaft with the feel and mid(ish) ball flight similar to the old Ping CFS (True Temper) R shafts?
