I recently came across a Snake Eyes Fire Forged Pro C.O.R. 320cc CMF driver, 11°, marked “Does Not Conform – USGA App. II, 5a”.
I’m especially interested in the hosel/tip diameter (.335 or .350), head weight, COR, face angle and original retail price.

Hosel tip diameter is .335. Face angle was listed a Square to .5 degree closed. Head weight was 200 grams. COR was not and was never listed. At the time COR limit was .830. If it was a non-conforming version, it would have to be higher than that. Probably would not have exceeded it by much. In the 2003 Golfsmith catalog they list the Fire Forged MAX COR 320 Head for $95.50. Not exactly the same head, but I think it was the next generation, but can’t be for sure. It was listed as conforming. That price is most likely very close to what the one you have was.

Don’t have a catalog prior to 2003 it appears. I will dig around in some more places to see if I can find one.

If you have access to any Golfsmith catalogs from 2001 or 2002, would you mind checking whether this earlier Fire Forged 320cc “Does Not Conform” version appears there? I’m trying to establish the exact year it was introduced.
If possible, a photo or scan of the relevant catalog page would be amazing.
I bought the head on Swedish marketplace in almost mint condition and want to ad a x-stiff shaft and use as a mini bomber haha. Club looks amazing.
