All irons/clubs are different. No single spot. On irons, our goal is to have the cg at the center or slightly toe side of center and a slow as possible for the type of design we are doing. Generally if you have a mass higher in the back, it drives the cg up, which is a negative with regards to the MPF. Rearward cg as far back as you can get it translates into stability and higher MPF, generally, but it shouldn’t be higher.
