Hello, with the caveat that I don’t fully grasp (besides being able to read the copy on the company’s web pages about spin etc) what makes a shaft a “wedge shaft,” is there a way to trim or configure the TT Score LT shaft to function as a wedge shaft in a parallel manner? I don’t build myself but would want to make this request when ordering from GW. Thanks!
The TT Score Shaft, whether trimmed for an R flex or an S flex, has a trim instruction for a wedge. I am assuming you are asking if trimmed like this how is it different from a shaft that is designated as a “wedge” shaft. Depends on the manufacturer and the model. some “wedge” shafts are nothing but stock shafts that have trimmed for an #8 iron, that when put into wedges, since the heads are heavier, will play a little softer. Many players prefer a Sand wedge or any wedges they have that they do not hit full most of the time, to be slightly softer. This 8 iron trick makes the shaft play a little softer. I am not saying all “wedge” shafts are like this, but can’t confirm either way.
On the Score, if you trim it like it calls for in a wedge, it will lay true to flex. If you want it to play softer, simply trim it less, like for an 8 iron.

Depends what you define as “wedge shaft.” I have the Score in my TS4s (stiff flex) and I had GW assemble my wedges with Score shafts with the tip trimmed so that it plays between regular and stiff for a little more feel on partial shots.
