Hi Britt,
Have a weird one here and hoping maybe you can help me or explain what is going on and sorry this will be a little long winded.
I have used an NESC swing weight scale forever, but recently upgraded to the GM1114 digital model about a year ago. I have always had good success with the digital and no issues with it currently, but i have experienced a weird phenomenon with 1 set of irons that is boggling my mind and i cant figure out why.
I have a set of mizuno irons that i built with steelfibers last year using this swing weight scale, everything is D0 on the nose. Reason i mention this is, i just started a build on a set of TS4 with steelfibers and here is where the strangeness comes into play. When i put the TS4 on the digital the 4 iron specifically comes out at D5, thought it was a bit weird it came out so heavy but figured it is what it is. But of course the curiosity in me came out, and i decided to check the same club on my NESC, the swing weight on there comes out at D2.5ish… So now I’m wondering if my digitals calibration is messed up, but just to make sure i check my mizunos on the NESC and the digital… all come out at D0 on both machines.
So now i am completely confused why the TS4 are coming out so heavy on the digital but not the none digital scale???
