How important is it for all clubs in my bag (Driver thru L wedge) to have the same swing wt? (I like a D-0.)

Not important that the iron set matches the wedges, or hybrids or fairways or driver. Your iron set, if traditionally built to progressive lengths with quality components that weigh within tolerance, with the head weights progressing in weight as they are suppose to, should be a consistent swing weight (+- 1 swing weight point). Generally wedge head weights can be a little heavier and if they are built to normal wedge lengths will usually be a few swing weight points higher, which is fine. Fairways, Hybrids, Drivers swing weights, as with all clubs actually, are determined by the weight of the components and the length of the clubs. Again generally, if your driver is 45″ long with a 60 gram shaft, 50 gram grip and 200 gam driver head ( which is about average), the swing weight will be around D2. Lighter shafts will make it go down. Lighter grips will make it go up. Heavier head up, lighter head down… So you really never know until you know the weight of the components and the club length what the actual swing weight of the club may be. We, I, have always said I don’t care what the number is, C8, D0, D3 whatever, as long as whatever it is provides the player with the head feel and overall club weight feel that feels right for them. So, having consistency in the irons is important, what the other clubs in the bag are and whether or not they match the irons doesn’t really matter, but the swing weight number for those other clubs should be one that provides you with the club head feel you like. In some cases all of them may be within a 2 or 3 swing weight range, but I wouldn’t worry if they are not.
