Here is a trick I use. I purchase SKU: CIV swing weight corks. Here is what I do, place the corks down the shaft at various lengths until you change the EL character of the shaft to achieve what you are looking for. This will take a while to do. I would cut the corks so they go down every 3″ it may take 2 or more corks. You are basically changing the shaft dynamics to lower you spin rate by stiffing the Butt, mid and tip to use lower degree club heads. Using the TOUR LOCK product SKU: TLPPLUS will change the shaft dynamics as well, however you can’t adjust them like you can the cork. Once you have the desired depth, epoxy the cork in. You will need a SKU: RR5 shaft rod to remove and install the cork as well. ( I think that’s the rod with the tapered/smaller end. Hope this helps.
