the NV iron shafts come in 3 weights in the S flex. If I compare the the 85 gram and the 95 gram NV’s to the MPF iron shaft that is 85 grams, the profiles are very similar. So much so I can’t really distinguish a difference. The 75 gram version of the NV iron in stiff is a little more flexible, but not much. Can’t really compare the NV iron to the NV wood. Two totally different applications. I would not say either NV iron or the MPF iron are “low spin”. They are listed as mid and mid/high trajectories respectively and should provide consistently “normal” spin rates, not high and not low. Of course the spin rates are highly dependent on the player and the ball being used.
