Has something happened with Aldila? I noticed it’s neigh impossible to find Tour Blue and Tour Green shafts outside of eBay as well as the long-available green NV and orange NVS.
I do see some newer NV’s such as the item# AL0088 on Golfworks but the specs are slightly different to the standard NV and even the 2KXV that, I think, were more counterbalanced? Are the Tour Green and Blue discontinued?
Tour Green and Tour Blue and 2KXV’s were all discontinued for 2023. All that is remaining we what we had or were able to buy before they discontinued. We have a lot of last years NV and NVS still available on our website and we have the new version, offering (according to Aldila) the same playability but with enhanced feel and responsiveness. The last years versions are in the Deals section of our website, under shafts.

We haven’t checked the balance point on the 2023 version compared to the last version on the NV or the NVS. My guess is, with the specs being a little different, it might be a little different as well, but I just don’t have that info yet. They (Aldila) tell us same great playability … I will see if Jim can check a few to find out the difference, if any.

Thanks, Brit. Do you know if the balance point was returned to the original NV for this year’s? I think the NKXV was high balance point. Did they continue that or return to the original?
