My brother is 76 and struggling with his taylormade r7 irons, the iron heads are good but the shafts too strong for him to control. I bought a set of used Srixon I-601 4-sw to try and make a set he could play with, his country golf club has 8-9 sets left by members that replaced them with new iron sets. So he got 4 sets of irons for me to mix and match to see if I could get him a set, finished up with these I-601s with ladies steel shafts that he hits a nice draw with!!!
I’m really happy with the results which is I guess more good luck than good management, yeah I’m bragging about it but it’s my first attempt at club making lol. I promise I won’t give up my day job lol, it’s very satisfying to do that for my brother and now I’m still working on my driver…
