I am assuming you are referencing the plastic ferrule and that is the concern. You can use a heat gun, but it can also damage the ferrule. Best to take a cool damp cloth and wrap it around the ferrule and then heat slowly. As long as the ferrule is kept cool you should be able to pull the steel shafts without damage. I do believe the M2 irons have a collard ferrule, meaning a portion of the ferrule fits into the top of the hosel. Difficult to save these kind of ferrules, at least the portion that is in the hosel. Suggestion would be to simply cut off the existing ferrule and use a new ferrule when re-shafting. We have a 70PI ferrule that should work, but it will not fit inside the hosel like the original. It will be a more traditional application. If you measure the outside diameter of the hosel and them reference out list of ferrules you can select one that is the same or slightly larger than the hosel.
