First off I want to say that I find your work to be fascinating. Admittedly I am surprised by some of the numbers, such as the Nike Vapors!
I see that you have tested the Cobra King F6 irons. Are you going to test the Max? I am curious because I’ve hit both and apart from cosmetics and loft differences, I believe they are the exact same clubhead.
I am surprised by some of the numbers as well when we go through the process. Using an old cliche, “you can’t judge a book by it’s cover” certainly holds true, and you can’t assume the playability of a golf club based on it’s look or what the manufacturer states that it is. Mass and dimensional characteristics are what matters and it constantly surprises me how they measure up when you consider all the technology available to the design and manufacturing process. As far as the Max goes, I will contact Cobra and see if we can get it to include in our data base. Not sure why we did not get it in the first place, but we will try and add it.
