thinking about making up a driving iron. Something I can hit low like a stinger and hopefully keep in play. I’ve played the Aldila NV green 85-stiff in fairways and hit them with a lower traj. Do I want the NVgreen85 hybrid or the NVblack85 iron shaft? Thinking I’m going to go with a KE4Max 4iron at 20* similar to the FDI 2iron, but open to the FDI instead
Either one is a good choice, the KE4 Max or the FDI. Personally, I play the FDI in the #3 and the #4 and my 5-PW, GW are the TS4 Forged. I use the #3 a lot of the tee and for hitting that stinger type shot. Just really depends on what you prefer to look at and what loft you need to get the distance and shot trajectory you are looking for. I like the FDI because it is a little lower profile and has a little less offset.

Or instead of graphite, maybe I should stick to steel shaft? Was planning to play the Score shaft in the iron set and I like the high trajectory, but want something lower in the driving iron, I think. Maybe the FST 125 is a good option because it is lower traj than the Score?
