I am a senior looking for a graphite A iron shaft with a high to mid-high trajectory. I currently use the TT Score. I do like the weight of the score. I have a set of M6 A, but they feel sloppy and too lite. If possible, I would like to stay under $20. Would appreciate your suggestions.
The Grafalloy ProLaunch iron (TT0135) is an 80 gram option, but is $29.99. Most A flex graphite iron shaft options in the $20.00 price range will be lighter. Graftech Lite from Graphite Design is a combination flex you can trim for A flex and is 75 grams and is $16.99 (GD0012). Both of these are high trajectory profiles. Grafalloy ProCustom is another combination flex that can be trimmed for A flex and is a 74 gram, high trajectory, $21.99 cost option (TT201201). I think anything you try in graphite, at that price point in an A flex, is going to be significantly lighter than the TT Score Steel at 117g.
