You might gain some distance due to the weight difference of the shafts. Lighter weight graphite lowers the overall weight of the club and that is why some folks may pick up a little distance when a light weight shaft is used. The Kuro Kage Black iron and the Modus 105 are both Mid trajectory shafts, so it’s hard to know from the specs if you will see any trajectory difference. That being said, different materials feel different and often times produce different ball flight results. The only way to know for sure is to test. The Project X is definitely a lower trajectory shaft and if that is what is a priority, it should produce a lower flight but probably would not increase distance simply because it is a heavier shaft.

Thanks Britt. Interesting that you say the Kuro Kage is also mid trajectory. The MPF shows 4B1M indicating a lower trajectory.
Thanks for always replying so promptly.
