I have a set of KE4 Tour irons- the ones from 2007. They are still in great shape- I had been playing other irons but am back to playing them and really like them. Are there any major differences in newer irons like the KE4 tour + or STi2 that would make upgrading worth it? Unless there are any major advancements or additions etc I would probably stick with these for another year or two. Thanks.
The Ultra Game Improvement playability is almost identical between the two. The lofts are stronger on the later version to keep up with the times and of course there is only one weight port in the new KE4 Tour + vs the two weight ports in the original from 2007. Other than the lofts being a couple of degrees stronger, there really should be not much difference. If the ones you have are in good shape, no reason to not keep playing them, in my opinion. One of my sons has the 2007 version and still plays them. Can’t get him try anything else he likes them so much.
