If a golf ball is made for its full potential at 75 degrees, then how much loss of distance should I expect playing at 45 degrees?
According to Titleist, a 20 degree reduction in outside temperature will reduce the distance 1.5%. So, for a 45 degree day vs a 75 degree day, on a 200 yard shot, you would loose about 4.5 yards, if my math is correct. A 50 degree day vs a 70 degree day would be about 3 yards, according to Titleist.
