I don’t have the specs for the Tour AD MD tour Stiff you listed and I did not see it on the Graphite Design website, so as far as comparing it’s playing characteristics to either the Xcaliber 6+ or the Rogue Silver XS, I can not. My guess is the Xcaliber they are referring to is the Xcaliber Tour 6+ in the TS, since the Xcaliber 6+ does not come in a TS (X) type flex. The Xcaliber Tour 6+ in the TS flex would play about 1/2 a flex more flexible than the Aldila Rogue Silver 60 X, but both would be considered low trajectory shafts. If you have a quicker, more aggressive tempo, the Rogue might be the better choice. If you have a smooth, more moderate tempo, the Xcaliber Tour could work. Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure is to test them. As far as shortening your driver, shortening generally always makes the club easier to control and produces a tighter shot dispersion. The trade off can be a loss of a few yards, but if you actually are able to hit the ball more solid at the shorter length, you could actually hit the ball as far as the longer length, with more consistency.

Britt,
Once again, thank you for the prompt reply.
Looking at the MPF rating I would say that this shaft is a good fit for me in my mind, would you agree? That means my shaft choices will only need to be sorted for the 3W, 1H & 3H clubs, a lot cheaper.
