I like the way my TT XP 95 shafts perform. The Nippon N.S. Pro 950GH shaft is intriguing in that it seems to be a similarly lightweight game-improvement choice. Are the two shafts nearly-identical or are there important differences that you could describe? Thanks.
Having experience with both and feeling the differences you may also want to look at the TT Elevate ETS85. A little longer active tip section will give you similar feel and launch characteristics as the Nippon.
The profile of the Nippon 950Gh is stiffer than the XP95 in both the R flex and the S flex. We measure the entire profile of the shafts from the butt end to the tip end and the Nippon will play stiffer. The XP95 is 9 grams heavier in the R flex and 7 grams heavier in the S flex. So there is a difference in both the overall flex profile and the weight.
