Hi, I have an old set of Maltby MMB, the first ones which I love.

I would love please to have all the specs of this clubs, which I have not been able to find online anywhere.

Also, which of the current clubs would be the most similar to them?

I really dig the more traditional loft setups as well. In my modern irons I play a 48* and treat it like a PW. I can’t wrap my head around the new weaker lofted irons. I have myself always hit a 6 150 or slightly greater and in my “new clubs” I hit a 7. Looking forward to reading about your reshafting experiment. I will definitely go with the NS Pro 950 GH 95g shaft as for me it works really really well… and weight them D0 5-9 and D2 in the PW. Been working very hard on my swing this winter and those shafts are magic. I have no problems hitting the MMB and still have a 7 iron shafted but the shaft is a little too stiff for me. Good Luck and look forward to reading about your project. I used the shafting beads and high strength epoxy this weekend and man oh man perfect installs. Nice and clean! Waiting got a ferule turning stand to arrive so I can finish them off…. Good Luck! Dan
