An old customer brought me a new Bertinardi putter that he tried to adust the loft and broke the shaft of flush with the top surface of the putter. He called the factory and sent them pictures of the problem and they told him it could not be fixed.
After getting my hands on it, it appears that they used an .370 aluminum “stub” that was epoxied into the head. The portion of the stub above the putter head was turned to a sized to install a double-bend steel shaft over the stub.
I recall years ago that both you and golfsmith sold such a part. Any idea where I can find one these days. Seems like all my sources are drying up.
