I snapped my 7-Iron punching out of the trees and need to order a replacement shaft. All my irons are +1″ in length. Do I simply order the 5 iron shaft, or do I specify the 7-iron shaft needs to be 1″ longer? (or is there no difference).

My irons are Taylor Made PSi Tour and the shafts are Nippon Pro 950GH in a stiff flex. Am I also correct that I should order this shaft with the 0.355″ tapered tip?

The PSi Tour should take a .355″ taper tip shaft. As far as the length, not sure how Taylor Made would have done it, but with the shorter raw lengths that these shafts come in, I think you are going to have to go with a 37.5″ shaft, which is a #5 iron shaft in this model, which should leave you about 1/2″ to trim from the butt end after installation if you’re making your #7 iron 38″ playing length.
