Is there any list of Putter MPF/MOI for non-Maltby putter heads, like you do for irons? Do you guys measure new release putter heads the same as you do with iron heads?
I’m considering a change but I have not been able to find much information on putters themselves other than the Maltby ones.
We did a MOI list of some popular putters years ago, but we have not done it in a while. Ralph did a study on putting and what matters and what doesn’t in putter design back in the 2006-2009 time range I think, and had a list showing the MOI (Moment Of Inertia) of putters. Because, in our opinion, MOI is 90% of what matters in putter performance (from the heads standpoint) that and head weight is really all the list had on it. We stopped it because as tough as it is to try and keep up with the Iron MPF, the number of putter models we would need to acquire would be a lot more. So, we do not have a current list of late model putters with MPF/MOI.
