The Rapport Core Blue 85 S flex iron compared to the Vista Pro 75 S flex, is very similar in profile. The upper mid section of the profile (approx. 20″ from the butt) in the Rapport is a little more flexible, but all other profile data points are similar (butt section, tip section, etc.). Simply means the Rapport might feel a little softer, but may not. Just depends on the player. As far as the swing weight part, neither shaft was developed with an extremely low balance point which is what yo need to maintain swing weights similar to standard length steel shafted irons. Generally speaking, the overall shaft weight and length is what is going to influence the swing weight number more than any lower balance point shaft. To get to a D1-D2 swig weight on a standard 38″ 5 iron length with the Rapport, for example, you would need to go a little longer, use a lighter weight grip, or a combination of both. 1/4″ longer with a 45 gram grip gets you to D0-D1 based on my calculator.
Lastly, generally we sell fewer 95 gram graphite iron shafts than 85 gram and under. That being said, it is something I have thinking about adding to the Rapport line. i thin a 90-95g S flex might be a good add. Fuji does not make anything heavier than 75g in the Vista, but they have the Pro Series in a 95g option.

thanks Britt. For comparison’s sake, I was referring to the Fuji Pro, not the Vista. I’d think a 95gm, or heavier, Rapport Core Blue iron shaft, at the current price point would be very popular with those looking to make the move from steel, a Steelfiber alternative. Easy for us to say right :). Looking forward to replacing my TS1’s with the TS1 IM’s….keep up the great work.
