When assembled. 370 head to .370 shaft, should I use beads or no? What’s the general rule on using them?
Micro spheres (shafting beads) create space between the hosel and shaft, so there is not a “starved” joint. With or without, be sure both surfaces are throughly wetted with epoxy. As Bret suggested, a little is always a good idea, but not required.
No need to, but you can. Sanding beads or the quick center sand can be used. If the shaft is a good fit it’s not really necessary, but some like to use it anyway. I will usually use just a little of the quick center to give the mix some body, but again, it is not necessary.
