So I go to https://ralphmaltby.com/what-is-my-mpf-rating/ and answer the questions

(By the way – the second question is the same as the first!! but the possible answers are different and unrelated to the question!!)

and get a shaft rating of 3B1M. so

what does this mean?

If I cant find exactly 3B1M how do I know what shaft ratings are close?

Then how do I find a shaft with that MPF? If I try the link ‘Find the Right shaft for you’ (http://www.golfworks.com/search.asp?fields=ShaftFlex%2CShaftDistorControl%2CPreferredTrajectory%2CCorrectionRequired&ShaftFlex=3&ShaftDistorControl=B&PreferredTrajectory=1&CorrectionRequired=H&ss=3B1H&search=Search+For+Shafts)

I get page not found

If you go to the Maltby Playability Factor page (tab at bottom of home page) you will see the choices of articles. “Find the Shaft to Fit your Game is the choice to make that takes you to the 4 questions you can answer that gives you the MPF rating based on your answers. Then, when you click “Search for Shafts”, all the shafts with your MPF will come up. It is possible that no shafts will meet your criteria, but that is rare.
