I’m looking to build a KE4 Max 7 iron to test out. Been playing with ProLaunch Blue R flex shafts in my irons for a while and wanted to try out a steel shaft. I hit my 7 iron about 150-155yd. I was looking at trying out the True Temper Score LT or Nippon NS Pro 950GH. Any thoughts on those or recommendations for any other steel shafts?
Either could be a good choice. The Nippon is a little lighter and might not be as big a transition from the ProLaunch Blue Shafts and for that reason they might be the one I would go with. The Nippon are discrete length in both the taper tip and the parallel tip, so you will get a constant weight throughout the set, which is good. The Score LT is great shaft and very versatile. A great performer at a great price. I might lean towards the Nippon only for the weight reason.
