Considering STi2 Club Pak with MPF Pro graphite shafts in A flex. How would -1″ shaft length affect flex and lie angle?

Generally speaking, -1″ in shaft length will not affect the flex IF nothing is done to the head weight. If you add weight back to the head to get back to a more standard swing weight, the shaft will play approximately 1/10th of a flex more flexible for every 2 grams of weight you add. I would assume you would want to add some of the weight back. On the lie, theoretically 1 inch shorter in length would mean the lie would need to be 2 degrees more upright. We would always advise doing a dynamic lie check on each club to confirm the proper lie for you with each club. It could vary from the text book answer. Shorter clubs tend to droop less, so the lie progression in the shorter clubs might be less than the longer clubs. Just making all the clubs 2 degrees more upright does not automatically make them the right lie for you.
