Hi,

I am looking for a club pack with mmb-17 for my son.

He is a strong player, 6’5″.

midsize grip

39″ from wrist to floor.

He is looking for a 7 iron which is 38 or 38.25 and has a d4 swingweight

Can you please recommend a x-flex shaft for his spec.

At 38″ on a 7 iron, assuming about a 62 gram midsize grip and a 130 gram X flex shaft, the swingweight will be closer to D6. If you went with the Premium Pak with the KBS Tour that is what you might expect the swingweight to be. The Premium Pak with the KBS Tour 105, where the X flex is actually 115, would get you to D5 at 38″. I would not worry too much about the swing weight number as long as the length and shaft flex/design are what fits him and provides the feel and performance he wants.
