hello, new here and very interested in the TE or DBM, although PTM look great as well, but a bit less.

I started playing 3 years ago and currently I am a mid handicapper (16) and played G410 this year, but something is not right. I got S55 just for training aid, but the difference between the two is not night and day and I feel more comfortable with lesser chunky sole. Hence my decision to go to a player head and, man, TE looks THE ONE. Anyhow it would be nice to have a comparison between the two given by the experts.

The TE and DBM are the same design with different finishes. They have been a flagship model for us for more than a decade (different name but same model some years ago). super game improvement playability in a players profile. I played the DBM for years and only changes to the TS1 this year. The DBM and TE have more traditional lofts, so if you compare to newer models, the lofts will be higher. The PTM was designed to kind to be the next generation of a highly playable players cavity. Stronger, more modern lofts, with similar playability and size. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, the TE, DBM or PTM.

Thanks Britt, then I am narrowing to TE and DBM.

Just one question, is it planned to have a refresh of their design any time soon? I would be sad to buy my set and few months later an updated version is released.

And out of curiosity, why did you change to TS1? And what are the main pro and cons of the two different irons?
