Not really that common, but some graphite shafts do have a lot of paint on the tip and require more prepping than those that don’t. If it is not paint, the tolerances should not be such that a .335 comes to you and is actually a .350. That would be more than it should be. Some companies made .350 tip graphite shafts for some OEM’s several years ago. We sold a few aftermarket versions in that tip size, but nobody is making any .350″ tip wood shafts for the aftermarket, or for the OEM’s today, as far as I know.

My guess is that there are still some .350″ tips floating around that are being sold as .335″. Send them back is what I would advise as well.

Thanks Bret . It was way more than I’m comfortable with . They were sold at .335 but weren’t even close to going into he block , even if I did normal prep . They were purchased on line by costumer . Told them to ? And send back Thanks again
