these were make around 2008; the raw length is 43″ and have a .350 tip
i made a 3 wood and did not tip it but i would like to make a 5 wood to match and am trying to find the tip instructions
We never carried that exact shaft, but we did carried similar Ozik priduct in .335 tip. All of the other models had a 3″ parallel tip section length and the trim instructions on those call for 1″ tip trim for a #3 wood and 2″ for a #5 wood. That does not really make sense for the #5 wood trimming 2″ when you only have 3″ parallel tip length. My suggestion is, if you did not tip the #3 and you like it, would be not to trim more than 1″ from the tip on the #5. If you want to error on the more flexible side, only trim 1/2″ from the tip. .350 tip shafts tend to feel a little stiffer than .335, simply because of the larger tip diameter.
