On the Golf WRX forum we are wondering what the TS1-IM could be? The TS1 is a great iron and to make a few tweaks in it is drawing curiosity. The guess is the tooling is wearing out and new tooling is offering an opportunity to make some changes. But what would need changed on the most perfect iron ever developed? So we are curious what you are planning and why.
We are working on a new version of the TS1, called the TS1-IM. It is designed with a little less offset, a little wider sole, slightly different loft gapping in the shorter irons and has the proprietary injected material in all the irons through the GW. It also has tungsten weighting inside the head. We also changed the look on the back just a little. You will definitely recognize it as a TS-1, but with these slight changes.
The TS1 is awesome and we have not decided if we will continue with the current model once we get the TS1-IM. We will see. Pete and I just wanted to tweak a few things we felt would improve the current model. May not improve it at all as the current TS-1 is a great performer and best seller as it is, but will give a fresh look to an already great iron. 2023 product.
