The TS2 appears to be getting phased out (if current pricing is any indication…). As TS1/TS1-IM is often compared to P770 while TS2 is often compared to P790… Will we be seeing a TS2-IM in 2024? 2025?

Also I read there are new wedges coming, are these going to be a “CBX” style forgiveness-focused wedge? If not can you shed light on where these will fit in the current lineup?

Last, any black versions of existing models coming in 2024? 2025?

The TS2 and TS1 are slowly going to be phased out. They have been great performers and it’s never easy to discontinue models that are as good as they are, but it’s time. No plan for a TS2-IM type of iron for 2025. We feel the TS3, although totally different construction, has kind of taken the place of the TS2.

Wedges are coming. We have approved for production all but a couple of the options that needed tweaking a bit, but the plan is for an early spring 2025 release. It could be sooner. 16 different options (loft/bounce/sole grind). There will be an “A” grind, which is an all purpose grind for neutral to softer turf conditions that will be in play for a broad range of players, from tour to mid/high handicapper. The “S” grind is going to be for a more accomplished player, with narrow soles and sole grinds that tend to be preferred by better players and good for neutral to firmer turf conditions. The “G” Grind are a series of “Gap” wedges (48, 50, 52) and the “W” grind will be the wide sole option for those that need the forgiveness a wide sole offers (something that Ralph pioneered a long time ago). I said 16 options, but if you include the Pearl chrome option and the DBM Black option, the choices will be around 30 (A, S and G will be offered in pearl chrome or DBM). Pete and I have been testing and have hit them all, extensively, on a variety of turf conditions and they are fantastic. Recently had an instructor in town for the Memorial and he came over, looked at them and was very complimentary. So much so, he had to have some, so we are built him a few to take with him. I never thought we could improve on the M-Series that much, but these are at another level, in my opinion. I will update as we get a clearer picture on the timeline for release.

Considering black versions of existing product, but some of them can’t be done in the DBM finish due to the construction. We will not do any other kind of black finish like a black chrome or QPQ or PVD because they don’t last. DBM is the most durable of any of the black finishes that we have ever used, by far. We are considering what we can do with DBM, but nothing decided yet.

PS: any clues as to which models “may” get DBM (crossing fingers for TS3)
I’m currently playing the TSW DRM 56* and love it around the green. However, I’m inconsistent out of bunkers. Inconsistently bad…..I either chunk too much sand or bounce the club off the sand into the back of the ball. I was considering the 54* .90 and 58* 1.05 Max Milled. Should I wait for the new wedges?
