How does the TS-2 club head feel in actual play on the course? Compared to the STi2 for example, or even the M890? Does it feel soft or hard, or in between? How’s the sound? Clear or muted? Any opinions?

Of the designs currently available the TS-2 has the best ‘overall’ feel of any clubhead in the catalog. The TE and the TS-1 when hit pure are as good as any forged iron from any source in the feel department, that didn’t even feel like you hit the ball feeling. On mishits those two designs will talk back to you and let you know it was a clanker.
But the TS-2 with its more forgiving design has a great feel all over the face. The design is quite forgiving and the soft feel can be felt even on bad shots. The Sti2 and the 890 will fall short in terms of feel on mishits as the cast design just cant produce the same forged feeling. That’s not to say they are harsh but its just not the same soft feel. If you are budget minded a well struck Sti2 will leave you with a grin on your chin. For being a cast club they are smooth.
If you need a more forgiving design but that fantastic forged feel by all means do not over look the TS-2.
