I built one of these for my son for Christmas and he struggles with it.  He’s a college baseball player turned golfer so you can imagine the ball flight he’s struggling with.  To prove that it’s a good driver, I made a shaft to my specs and hit it alongside my Ping G440 today during a round.  Similar distance and similar ball flight.  It’s a great head, but I don’t like the sound (like a Marucci aluminum bat).  Here’s my question:  has anyone tried filling it with hot melt or foam to deaden the sound?    Any other recommendations for softening the sound?
