- Hey all.
Looking for a good starter iron set for my 13 year old. He’s 5’4 so standard length will work for him to grow into.
2nd swing recommended an adult 12 club strata set which I get but I’m fine breaking it apart and getting some maltby things.
What iron set would you recommend? He’s a beginner golfer so thinking either ke4max or Sti2 with some maltby mpf graphite shafts and a standard grip.
Another thought is I have a set of m890 in regular score shafts hos grandpa was using but they are standard length and he could choke down and could try those.
Thoughts there?

I would imagine the strata set is standard length also. That being the case he would need to choke down on those to.
I recommend whichever route you go, make sure they fit for length and flex. It’s a hard game. If the equipment doesn’t fit, it makes it that much harder.
