Proto Concept Golf Just saw them on my Instagram account and wow if you haven’t checked them out do so !!!!!What’s really interesting to me is how they forged their CO1 TB , they take a ceramic bar and forge it right into the muscle back it almost goes the length of the club !!!! Word on the street is that they are forgiving and workable An Iron calzone enjoy!!!! Wonder what would be the MPF on those beauty’s!!!!
I could build a fantastic set of TS3 or TS1IM and I’d bet your scores would be no different. Their price is point is a bit ridiculous.
Not new technology. Not proprietary to them. Multiple companies using ceramic, including us. However, what I see from the pictures on their website vs what we and others are doing is a little different. Different method of application. Purpose should be to allow placement of the cg in the most advantageous place to enhance playability. Ceramic is very light and fills space, allowing for movement of heavier material to improve stability and ultimately playability. That being said, just because it’s in there doesn’t mean they automatically have the cg in the right place for high playability. Overall mass and dimensional characteristics must be right. Would be interesting to measure.
