How much can the lie angle of a club be changed? Do you need to heat the head before it can be bent? I have some old Olimars that are 3 degrees flat and I like the way they sit at address.

Buy a bending machine from GW and watch how much ffun you can have—-PS, it is not rocket science and easy to learn.
Depends on the model, the material, how it was heat treated and the hosel length. Most of our models can be bent at least 2 degrees. Most of the carbon steel models, in the hands of an experienced club technician, can be bent a little more. Would just need to know what brand and model you are wanting to bend to be able to tell you more accurately. Also, would need to know the real lie angle number of the Orlimar. It may be 3 degrees flat from Orlimars standard, but 3 degrees flat in another model may not end up at the same lie angle number. So, important to know the actual lie angle of the head.
