I use an old wood clamp 60" long with PVC glued to both butt ends so not to slip. Squeeze that sucker until it gives its secrets :)

Best to buy a new shaft. I would say by time you get this done your swing weight is going be off the chart. I've tried adding tungsten powder, lead both liquid and hard done the shaft then ramming a cork...

I love brass it doesn't melt and splatter all over the place when removing clubheads. You can tell if clubs have been worked on if you see brass weights. OEM have moved to sand and other crap materials...
