Thanks. I have a couple of lighter (95 & 85g) Nippon shafts in the shop. Have the Modus 105R in my older ZX7 set which I really like.
Thanks. Bummer about the C6. I’ve been enjoying that in my driver. I’ll grab a Tensei AV Silver to try out. Trying the Rapport and Pro Series out now in the shop. Plan to take them on course this...
I felt the MMT was too tip stiff for my swing. Definitely considering the Pro Series. I have that shaft to demo. Thanks
Thinking it’s time to move to graphite iron shafts. Would like your take on a few options. Quick note on me/my game. About to turn 70. Still hit it decent. Have been playing the TS3 with DG 105 R...
What is your experience with, or feedback on the Rapport iron shafts? I play the Rapport hybrid shaft and REALLY like them. Testing some graphite shafts now and will likely try the Rapport iron shaft...
I’d love to see a LH forged offering as well. The STI2 and KE4 Max are nice, but think the TS3 would fill a need/desire for the lefties. No idea what the LH demographic is for Maltby gear; so I suspect...
Thanks!
Thanks! I used quite a bit of solvent. Will use the taper technique next time.
First time gripping the 17” putter grip. I got it done but was a pain! Any technique tips installing these? Thanks in advance.
Thanks. Didn’t see them in the MPF iron listing. Look sharp!
Watched a club review video this morning and one model “revealed” was a Maltby PTM 5 and 7 iron head. Is this a new design in the works?
Yes. I weakened the loft a degree or 2. Would have to double check to confirm exact loft.
I play the TS3/TS3.5 combo. Started with TS3 all the way 5-GW. Wasn’t getting the distances I needed with the 5 and 6 iron so built the 3.5. Haven’t looked back. Could see myself adding the 3.5...
Thanks. I was able to get both the wood and iron un-gripped charts and the single gripped chart.
P.S. Seems to be roughly a 10 CPM difference between gripped (stiffer) and un-gripped. Does this make sense?
Having just purchased the Auditor FA, was wondering about the “gripped” clubs chart. Is it primarily focused on woods? Seems to be a slight disconnect when comparing to the un-gripped wood and...
Sounds like the TS1-IM would be a great fit for you. Good luck!
My 2 cents. The TM P790 is a players distance iron head with stronger lofts than the TS4 and TS1-IM. So if you feel like you need the P790 loft structure I’d suggest you look at a couple of the other...
Thanks. Definitely a tight fit! I had to reshaft an older Hogan iron many moons ago that had a “pin” through the hosel and shaft. That one wasn’t fun!
Have an old (1980) set of Wilson Staff Tour Blades. Thought I’d have some fun touching them up; new ferrules, grips, etc. BUT, having a heck of a time pulling the shafts! Any tips? Not seeing...
