Britt, I thought that I read something awhile ago that the steelfiber shafts from Aerotech had less vibration upon impact than a graphite shaft. Is that true?

The Aerotech SteelFiber shafts are graphite shafts. They are graphite shafts with a very, very, very fine steel fiber spiral wrapped through the shaft. They dampen vibration very well.
The Aerotech SteelFiber manufacturing process involves creating an ultra-fine stainless steel fiber by repeatedly drawing and bundling stainless steel wires, then wrapping this fiber around a graphite shaft core. The graphite core is made using a seamless filament winding process, and the steel fiber is then wound around it in a hoop (hoop) orientation. This combination creates a shaft that merges the stability of steel with the feel of graphite.
