When glueing driver/metalwood adapters onto graphite shafts, would the forum recommend using glass shafting beads or not? I always use it when assembling irons with steel shafts but it doesn’t seem right with adapters. Thanks.
I agree with RLF, most of the reshafts I’ve done with adapters have a loose fit, so the beads take care of that. Especially with woods, as the head would be off spec if it’s not centred.
I’ve used glass beads in the event the adapter and shaft had a loose fit. Otherwise just epoxy.
