Looking at your older Maltby KE 4 from 2006 1014 mpf rating, Maltby KE 4 tour 2007 884 mpf rating,Maltby KE4 V polymer 860 mpf ,Maltby KE-4 U30 1014 mpf and Maltby KE4-S 863 mpf the reason why I mentioned those in particular is because of the Double weights heel and toe sides with those high Mpf ratings are there any advantages of duel weights opposed to single toe weight like your recent and very attractive KE4 max forged? Will Maltby ever bring duel weights back if there is an advantage? I do like the symmetrical look lol but that’s personal preference,,,,,,,,,

The real advantage of the dual weights was you could adjust more weight. Where we want the cg location is designed independent of the weight adjustment feature, but of course we have to take that into consideration when designing. I think the single weight is easier to design and allows for maybe a little less “thick” look on some models, but no real reason we haven’t done another two weight version other than that is not what we were envisioning at the time we did the other designs. We can make a 1000+ point MPF with one weight, or no weights, so whether or not the design has weight adjustment does not influence the MPF. It’s all about the mass and dimensional characteristics of the design, with our without that feature.

Whether or not we bring back a dual weight design is something we will consider. No reason not to if we want to include that feature in a future design.
