I currently play the KURGO KAGE BLACK, 75 years old 12 handicap, some of my playing partners are currently using these shafts. Dose the cost of the shafts make a difference in a round of golf

Have not heard of Norton shafts (maybe you mean Newton?). We know about the Autoflex. Have not tested the Newton. We saw nothing remarkable with our limited testing of the Autoflex, but that was a few years ago.
All I can say is in our many years of experience and understanding how shafts are manufactured, tested and marketed, that price does not always relate to performance. We have done blind testing with a $10.00 composite vs $400.00 composite and had a 50 / 50 result, meaning half players chose the inexpensive an half chose the expensive. So basically a toss up with regards to feel and performance. That being said, there can be better tolerances on some expensive shafts vs inexpensive, but that depends on the shafts. We have seen tolerance not so good on expensive shafts as well.
We will always tell a player to go with what feels and performs best for you, regardless of the brand or price.
