Just had my maltby ts3 7 iron assembled to 37 inches with a jumbomax ultra lite 49g small with a modus 120 shaft and the swing weight according to pga superstore was D5. I was expecting around D2 so am a bit surprised. I purposely went with the modus because I want a softer butt section and now I feel like I have a hammer and it defeats the purpose. This was to be in my backup set. My gamer is a zx5 axiom 105. Same grip and swing weights to d2.5. Is it thr maltby head? What’s going on? Any thoughts? Tips besides heavier grip?
