Trying to understand the shaft MPF designation.
Pro Series DR, MPF is 4B2M for the S flex.
What exactly does 4B2M actually mean?
Thanks

The explanation and information about shaft MPF is online and in our catalog. The link below will give you some information. Working on getting the chart in the catalog on that page as well.

Basically the shaft MPF is more of an eliminator than a determinator. It will help you narrow down shafts to a flex and category of trajectory, but then you have determine the weight, price, material within that category that might work best. We have more information and charts on shafts at the next link below:

At the bottom of the second link, you can download the category of shaft chart (woods, irons, etc.) you are looking for and then sort by MPF, weight, torque, whatever you want to help narrow down your choices once you determine the code, like 4B2M. In the code itself, the 4 designates the flex (s), B represents “both” when asked if you are looking for distance control or both, 2 represents a “medium” trajectory vs 1(low) or 3(high), and M is the “None” answer to the question if a correction is required, as in correcting a hook(H), or Slice (S).
Hope this helps.
