I noticed this the other day during a build. Hoping that Britt can explain why the alignment mark on the head (not just Maltby’s) often
times don’t seem to align with the center of the club face.

Good question. The alignment mark on Drivers, fairways and hybrids should always be slightly off from the actual center because when you put it directly in the center it appears to be towards the toe at address. It’s an optical illusion. It can vary as to how much depending on the shape of the head, the type of mark, etc. Sometimes the marks can be not in the right place, but I have rarely seen it. I checked the STi that you show and the stock we have is correct. When you sit it down in the playing position, at least to me, it looks centered even though it is slightly biased towards the heel, by design.

Makes perfect sense. That’s the difference between a club builder and someone skilled in design!
Thanks Britt
