Having a big failure rate on the TS series irons with ferrule creep. I have been installing them as I have every other ferrule for the last 20 years. Any set process for installing them?
You have to epoxy the ferrules on, but I would teach that technique for any ferrule. Myself and Pete used the ferrules on the TS1 sets we built for ourselves and played all summer with them without any failure. If you did epoxy the ferrules on, then I am at a loss as to why you are having an issue. I will take a look and do a little testing to see if something has changed with the ferrules from the ones we used. Nothing should have changed.

I did not epoxy them on. I had been building them just as I always have. I will epoxy them for now on.
I drove them on and set them with the iron head and then epoxied. Ferruls have always held with that method but with the collar it doesnt allow the minimal amount of epoxy to hold.
