Hi,

In my search for a new set of irons, I came across Maltby. I’m trying to decide which set to get, but I can’t find any testing information or anything similar online. I have however come across forums where people said they got “demo” irons. Where do I find/buy those, and is it possible to get 3 or 4 different types?

I’m a 16 HC rn, but I’m rapidly improving, so I’m looking for a set that’s going to work for me when I get down to single digits. I currently play Callaway Mavrik irons, but they’re way too long (my 5 iron is a 3 iron). If anyone has suggestions on which ones I should get, let me know.

another option is to post the town you are in. there’s a chance there’s a clubmaker in the area that can let you hit some demo clubs. I’m in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

The “demo” irons they are talking about mean that you can buy a single iron from Golfworks. That way you can try one before you commit to a whole set.
